HP Touchpad gets price drop

We have seen some retailers like Staples offer price drops on the HP Touchpad. Sadly, these offers were only temporary.

However, as of today, according to HP, the tablet will now go for 399 for the 16GB WiFi version and 499 for the 32GB WiFi version. The price cut is in immediate effect on HP’s website.

This price cut might suggest poor sales of the tablet, and are trying to entice new customers with the price drop. This certainly looks like a desirable tablet now that it is a hundred dollars cheaper. Will you be getting an HP Touchpad now that a price cut has been implemented?
